Re|solution Continues Momentum with Expansion of Executive Team
BROOMFIELD, Colo., September 15, 2004 — re|solution™, the leading revenue cycle optimization organization for rural community-based health care providers, today announced that Michael Ronning has joined the company as Vice President of Client Services. Ronning brings twenty years of revenue cycle management expertise to re|solution, and his responsibilities will include managing the company’s remote staff, enhancing the company’s service offering and ensuring the quality of service to re|solution’s customers.

Ronning joined re|solution from Perot Systems Healthcare, where he was an Associate Vice President for Revenue Cycle Management. In that position, Ronning managed project teams at small rural hospitals as well as at academic medical centers, with A/R projects ranging from $5 million to more than $100 million. Ronning also had P&L responsibility for Perot’s Government Accounts Division, which provides eligibility services to fifteen client hospitals. Before his position at Perot Systems Healthcare, Ronning was Director of Business Services and Patient Access Director at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Houston. Clear Lake served as the hub of a three hospital CBO (Central Business Office) and Ronning significantly improved operational performance leading to reduced A/R days and bad debt.
Before joining Clear Lake, Ronning was VP of Operations at Triad, where he was responsible for all aspects of this EBO (Extended Business Office) services company of 255 employees. Ronning managed over $650 million of health care client accounts receivable and $150 million in annual collections. Earlier in his 20 year career, Ronning held management positions at Texas hospitals such as Gulf Coast Hospital, Texas Children’s Hospital and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. Ronning earned a Master of Health Administration (MHA) degree from St. Louis University in Missouri and earned his BS at Providence College in Rhode Island.
